Privacy Policy

The short version

  • I only collect what you choose to give me, like your name and email, plus the basic technical information every website receives.
  • I use it to reply to you, send what you asked for, and schedule our conversations.
  • I never sell or rent your information, and this site doesn’t use advertising or analytics tracking.
  • You can unsubscribe, or ask me to see or delete your information, any time by writing to cami@camaranallen.com.

Who I am

This website is run by Camaran Allen, a coach based in Washington State, USA. In this policy, “I,” “me,” and “my” mean Camaran Allen, and “you” means anyone who visits this site or gets in touch through it. This policy covers camaranallen.com and yourtrueground.com.

Information you give me

I collect personal information only when you choose to share it:

  • Contact form: your first and last name, email address, the topic you choose, and your message.
  • Free guide sign-up: your email address, and any other details the sign-up form asks for.
  • Discovery call booking: your name, email address, and anything you add when you book.
  • Your True Ground application: your answers to the application questions.
  • Email and social media: whatever you include when you write to me directly.

Please don’t put medical or other sensitive personal details in a form or email. If something like that matters to our work together, we can talk about it on a call.

Information collected automatically

Like every website, this site’s hosting service records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. That information is used to keep the site running and secure.

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking tools. WordPress, the software the site runs on, may set a small number of functional cookies, for example if you leave a comment. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How I use your information

  • To send you the free guide and any emails you signed up for
  • To schedule and hold discovery calls
  • To review applications and deliver the programs and services you choose
  • To keep the site working, secure, and free of spam
  • To meet my legal obligations

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I don’t use it for targeted advertising.

Services that help me run this site

I share information only with the service providers that help me run my business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

  • Website hosting and WordPress: the site and its contact form messages are stored with my web host.
  • Mailchimp: manages my email list and sends the guide and newsletters.
  • Microsoft 365: handles my email, discovery call scheduling (Microsoft Bookings), and program applications (Microsoft Forms).
  • Payment processors: if you buy something, your payment is handled by a secure payment processor. I never see or store your full card number.

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. I may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of anyone involved.

Emails from me

If you sign up for the free guide or my emails, I’ll send you messages about my work. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time.

How long I keep your information

I keep your information only as long as I need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. If you unsubscribe, you’ll stop receiving my emails. If you’d like me to delete your information, just ask.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you, correct, or delete the personal information I have about you. Email cami@camaranallen.com and I’ll respond within 45 days.

Do Not Track: Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because this site doesn’t track visitors across other websites, it doesn’t change how it works when it receives that signal.

Keeping your information safe

This site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and I take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or online service can promise perfect security, but I work to keep your information safe.

Children

This site is meant for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has shared information with me, please let me know and I’ll delete it.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, such as Instagram, my booking page, and the Embody Your Brilliance deck site. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn’t cover them.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I’ll change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, I’ll also post a notice on the site.
